speed trouble!

Hallo, i have some problem with the speed in my pokemongame, every time i wish to play it, it starts with a high amount of speed in the game, and i cant turn it off, but if i play on my laptop, and dont charger my battri, the speed slows down a little but not much.

Can anyone help me, please!!

Make sure that you have your sound enabled, it should go normal speed.

turn on frame-limit or something along the lines of that, it will be somewhere in the options of the emulator

What emulator are you using? If VBA, did you unselected the "Speed up toggle" option? It lies on the menu bar >Options/Emulator. It should be deselected.
Yes, the enabling sound can make it slower too.
Oh, that is "frame skip". Yes, you should check there too. Options/Frame skip/Throttle and choose "No throttle".
I experience these things in VBA. If you are using other emulator, I'm sorry.
