I think you can function with 2gigs of ram, but I think that is a minimum requirement.

Please post all of your pc specs.
For pcsx you will need a lot more than 2 Gigs of RAM.
You would need a Intel core2duo,Core2Quad,i3,i5,i7 and good graphics to run the games smoothly.
