Dolphin - Phantasy Star Online Episode I and II

Hey guys, I have a very strange problem (at least strange for me) when I try to play Phantasy Star Online Episode I and II with Dolphin emulator with my brother, I started the game normally, but when I arrived at the city, I can talk to most NPCs but not the ones behind counters and no one gives me a mission and I can't find a portal/door to a dungeon anywhere.

Help will be much appreciated, thank you..

Thnx..but I'm not sure what I should be reading.. == I read the wiki but I still have no idea how to solve my problem..It didn't say anything about unable to talk to NPCs..or does it mean I can't play in x32 bit Windows? I play offline splitscreen btw..
