Can't get FF origins to work

I am trying to run ff origins on epsxe 1.7. All i get is a black screen... been trying to set up this emulator to specifically play this game for something like 2 hours. so frustrated.

If it's possible post your PC specs (Like Processor,Graphic Card,RAM etc.) and your emulator settings (what plugins are you using).Or you can use this emulator

It requires a reasonably fast pc.But you don't have to set any kind of plugins.
You only need your bios image (not included because it's illegal) and you need to cunfigure the joystick or keyboard and you are ready.

Use ePSXe 1.5.2. Some Square games have trouble running on newer ePSXe versions.
