hey im new to emulators and ive had problems getting any emulator to work outside of project64. i want to use the pcsx2 emulator so i can download and play ps2 roms. everytime i install the pcsx2 emulator and try to use it i get unable to start because gnu_gettex.dlll was not found. how the hell do i fix this im getting tired of not being able to get emulators to work and i really want this one to work so i can play my fave ps2 games. any help is appreciated

Well generally speaking, if you dont have it get it. If you can't find it, try searching for that error on google, 9 time out of 10 it will show up.
i.e "because gnu_gettex.dlll was not found" shows this (http://forums.ngemu.com/showthread.php?t=37151)link
Dll's in general can have certain versions. so for example here (http://www.dlldll.com/gnu_gettext.dll_download.html)is one. Put this file in the main ps2 emulator folder and try it. If it complains about missing exports, that is not a good version of the dll delete it
