Is there an emulator out there that would allow me to run windows 98 in windows XP? And if there is would it allow me to use hardware like a camera that was designed to work only in 98?

Its not a program Im trying to run, its a discontinued kensington camera that I cannot run under XP unless the firmware is updated and I need windows 98 to update the firmware.

VMWARE Workstation

It aint cheap, I imagine a smart individual could "find" it though.

hmm, well I think it might work. I picked up a copy of the software and it allowed me to install windows 98 on it. A little work and I might be able to update my cam.

Thanks alot.

Hmmm, I prefer install Win98 directly as a dualboot than install it under Virtual PC or VMWare. It would slow your PC performance. B)

Well if you had any clue what was trying to be accomplished you'd know that 'performance' is irrelevant to the cause
