I'm using Fusion to emulate the Megadrive/Genesis, and I would like to save my progress in Sonic 3 & Knuckles using the game's internal save feature instead of the emulator's. It seems to work even when I do a soft reset but all of my saves disappear when I exit fusion. How can I fix this? I want to play the game the way that I played it all those years ago. Thanx in advance.

You can save state its better because you can back to the lose point in a click

So, no rom save huh? Well that sucks. Oh well, thanks for the reply. I guess I'm just gonna have to settle with fusion's quicksave feature :glare:

Why do you play old games like that

I'm confused. do you mean: Why do I play old games? or Why do I like saving the traditional way? Well you said that you play Sonic CD so I'm guessing you meant the latter.
Well, Sonic 3's save feature lets you revisit any stage at any time. And all my progress can be easily overwritten by a quick press of the F5 key. It's not the end of the world if I cant get it to work, I would just have to be careful not to lose any of my saves.
