Game Problem: Lord of the Rings Game

So recently i decided to pick back up an old gamecube game, Lord of the Rings: The Third Age. So I downloaded the game and, oddly, although it was only a one file download, when i finished unzipping it, it came up as two discs. Also, in the dolphin game list it appears as Lotr Disc 1 and Disc two, two seperate files. So anyways, the problem happened when i got to the mission "Break out to Rohan's Plain" in the East Emnet Gullies, which according to the game is 28% of the way into the game, the game plays a cut scene after I win the battle and then the screen goes black and just stays black and will then not change. I'm not sure what the problem is but I was hoping that someone might know how to fix this problem. Thanks in advance!
