how can i save in gens emulator

i downloaded gens emulator and its goooood but

how can i save in it

To Save State
Save State: Go to File > Click "Save State As..." [Or Press Shift + F5] > Choose Location, Type Name & Click "Save"
Quick Save: Go to File > Click "Quick Save" OR Press F5

To Load State
Load State: Go to File > Click "Load State ..." [Or Press Shift + F8] > Find Location of Save State, Click on Save State & Click "Open"
Quick Save: Go to File > Click "Quick Load" OR Press F8

Change State of Quick Saved/Loaded from
Go to File > Click "Change State" > Choose Slot [0-9] OR Use "F6" to go to Previous slot & "F7" to go to Next slot
