I've recently installed a modchip into my 64pin 2nd generation Sega Saturn. Install went fairly easy and I was able to back up my copy of Guardian Heroes and play it without too much issue, a couple of resets here and there on the system, but it plays great.

I used ImgBurn to Write Image file to Disc using the Bin & Cue method. I take the Cue file and transfer that onto ImgBurn using the Write Image file to Disc, set the burning to 4x speed on both my burner and ImgBurn and all I get are coasters. The discs just show up as 2 tracks on my Saturn menu and will not play, :fuckyou:

Can anyone out there post or send me to a step by step method to burning Saturn games onto disc for play in their Saturn? I've scoured a bit but nothing seems to come up. Very frustrated. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks,

Is your Saturn region free?. If not, it could be that the images you're burning are designed for a different region Saturn. The modchip allows you to run backups but the Saturn will still expect the backup to be compatible with its bios (US, EU, Jap).

Loads of helpful info here on Saturn Backups, mod-chips, and adjusting it to run CD-RW discs etc.

Hope that helps.
