Greatest Arcade Roms!

Which roms are the greatest ever? I would really like to hear everyones opinion on this.

Personally I really like the Metal Slug series

I just can't get enough of the classics like dig dug, pac man, frogger Mr. do!, track and field,ect...
I know the grafix are simple but when I fire up my mame cab and open a few beers it's a great time.

Well for me, I've enjoyed my FF6 and Garou Mark of the Wolves roms the most. I really dig on RPG's and Fighters.

What makes Metal Slug so special? I never played it, so, convince me :p
I only played it for the first time last week. Basically you're a soldier,
and you shoot these guys who drop out of trees onto you and so on.
There is this odd-looking grey tank, I think it's the metal slug. There's
a lot more to it, I only played for a few minutes to make sure it worked.
I've got all the metal slugs to work except for mslug4 which I'm still
working on.

One of the hard-core metal sluggers will have to describe it
better to you.
