Nestopia Autofire does not work sometimes

I have a problem with Autofire in Nestopia (1.39 and 1.40). Sometimes it works and sometimes not (nothing happens). I tried other NES emulators, but they were not working in Ubuntu correctly. In Windows, there was the same problem.
