so im trying to setup my mame cabinet with two optional console controllers for preference when playing a game....... i figured having two duplicates of one emulator but each with different settings...... well thats not working for me lol........ i could go with a joy2key app and just map the 360 controlls to the same as the x arcade buttons..............but then im S.O.L with the analog sticks...... is there any keyboard to joystick emulators that i can use to set my x arcade to mimic the d pad and buttons on my 360 controllers........

You so need Bliss-Box. but guessing you don't have cash for that option, try to do it with Xpadder.

thanks alot..... x padder did the trick..... the only problem i had was with null dc.... i just copied the folder and setup 2 diff nulldc's......and that bliss box is sum pretty good stuff............ do you have anything like that for atari controllers? i was thinking about throwing the old atari joystick in it for the couple of atari systems

Yes, bliss-Box supports Atari. See the list here

The reason I say you could benefit form it is the UDLR mode. For example, if you are using the n64 and you want to go all digital you can press L+R+start and now the d-pad is the X/Y controllers.
