GBA problems

Hi, I just downloaded VisualBoyAdvance, andI tried playing pokemon sapphire, and I get in red text say "Battery Loaded" and then a white screen. The game wont load and I am quite anoyed. if anyone knows the problem, please let me know.

Try to change the save type option found in VBA options.
