i Bought an SNES controller adapter which hooks to a USB drive port of my Pc, in turn my original SNES controller hooks to the adapter

I don't know how to get the darn thing to work. what do I have to do? Do I have to configure anything on the emulator to get my controller to work?

Please help me!

What emulator are you using?

Do I have to configure anything on the emulator to get my controller to work? -- yes...

I have the same situation. No resolution found yet... I've tried using the following emulators: Zsnes, snes9x, bsnes

With each of these emulators I've tried to locate the USB / Gamepad adapter as a controller option... but to no avail...even though when I plug my SNES controller into the USB adapter it checks out in windows as ready to use.

Any thoughts? Please let me know asap, feeling mystified and ready for resolution! Thanks.

Do this and report back where its failing...

Snes9x:
First go to the controller control panel. Normally found in the control panel, looks like this ( with less buttons and bars )

Try each button, make sure they all work.

Then open up snes9x and go to the controller config looks like this

Click a box and press the button you want. Left me know if that works.

Now try the game.

Also what is the name of the adapter.
