Hey guys. I use to LOVE playing N64 back when I was a kid. I use to mostly love all the RARE games. I took out my N64 and tried playing it but apparently it's dead after not being used for the past almost 12 years.

I just bought an N64 Controller adapter USB to use it on the PC from ebay and I should be receiving it next week sometime. I was just wondering a few things.

1. What is the best EMULATOR to run with 64 bit Vista?

2. Will the controller on the USB adapter automatically work with the Emulators or will I have to do some crazy setting up?

3. *not really important* Where are the most reliable roms mainly for games made by, like Goldeneye, Banjoo Kazooie, Killer instinct and of course ZELDA!

Thanks :)

1) pj64 IMO is the best, many others.
2) yes, its a snap. If the buttons go crazy, its a normal defect in that adapter. The fix is to plug in a psx controller at the same time, or get a better adapter ( see my sig )
3) Just go with the goodn64 set. If goodn64 says its a good rom, your ok.

Hey man, thanks for all that info , I appreciate it greatly :)

By the way ...

this is the n64 controll usb adapter that i bought, it's the only one I could find in my country for sale (australia)

Do you know of this adapter and if so is it one of the good or bad ones?
