Hello,

My Final Fantasy 1 game slows down to a near halt now and then when I am playing it.

It occurs regularly.. every minute or so the game (especially the music) decides to lag down to a minimum 1-2 FPS, like the CPU can't handle the game or something, then after a few seconds, it resumes its normal speed. I have no problems with my laptop. It's a good enough laptop for this kind of thing.
I am using SSSPSX and I raw ISO ripped the CD with IsoBuster and I play it off my hdd with the .cue and .iso files.

I'm sure other people have run into this problem before aswell.
What is the cause and solution of this?

Thank you

I haven't used this particular emulator, but is there some sort of a "throttle" option? You can turn the throttle to 100%, instead of "Automatic". That way, it will force the game to run at its normal speed.
