Every time I try to play it freezes right after the opening movie. Anyone know of a fix for this?

Its not so much that it freezes it just like gets stuck in a loop

Could it just be a bad rom or has anyone else had a similar problem?

As promised.

Tested with ePSXe 1.7.0. Indeed a GFX bug. So far any Playstation emulators which is using plugins might encounter either video looping or missing GFX on the character's status (which ended up hang).

Fortunately, there is only one (yeah, so far I tested) might solved the problem.

Delete all remnance of the previous install, wipe it clean then restart and try again

please post your results

You may have to reboot and delete some folders are few times if they are " in use"
