An interesting question....

Hey I've been getting some odd stuff lately, things like .rar files, and it doesn't work with the emus i have (i've tried just about every one i could find for gba) and then i tried changing the file types to gba/bin/agb because it excepted those file type, still nothing... could you guys help me out? how do i run these rar files or change them into gba files that work?

.rar is a zipfile... use winrar to unzip it if winzip doesn't support it...

Just like zip, those rar are the same as zip whereas the original files are compressed. You cannot directly play those rar files as those are unsupported by VBA. ;)

You better use WinRAR (http://www.rarlab.com/) to uncompress it.

Then you can play them. :)
