Castlevania Resurrection

I know that there is a Castlevania title for Dreamcast that has been never released. It'll surely be in PS2 or Xbox, but why Konami cancelled the project for Dreamcast?

Castlevania Resurrection won't appear on any console.
It was cancelled because SEGA decided to stop making games for Dreamcast and cut the console's production.
