Is there any possible way to transfer pokemon from the GBA games to the NDS games? Even indirectly, like uploading them to a console game then to the NDS?

How likely is it that there will EVER be a way?
And just confirming, but is it also impossible to transfer Mew from Pokemon Ranch to any of the Gen 4 games?
