[Communication problem] VBA Link and Pok?mon Emerald

I also have problems with VBA Link and Pok?mon Emerald. I've followed all the instructions, I have the two save files separated and working but when I try to connect, it appears:

"Communication error...
Please check all connections, then turn the system OFF and ON"

Someone knows how to fix this?
