Help on Zsnes

My Zsnes emulator started to at funny. It would only allow me to move one inch at a time when normally If I hold down a arrow key I kept on moving, but now I have to keep on jamming the arrow keys to move. The probelm is not just with the characters walking but on the menus as well. It effects all games not just one, and I've already tried to deleted and redownload the program. Please does anyone have any ideas on what to do?

It could be your keyboard or a setting related to it in windows. If you open notepad and hold down a letter or number key does the character repeat on the screen or just appear once?. If it only appears once then you need to go into windows control panel and look at your keyboard settings.

It only happens with my Zsnes, I have another emulator and it works fine as well as my alplacations. Any other Ideas?
