Final Fantasy IX Problem !!

Hi guys i recently start playing Final Fantasy IX on the emulator epsxe 1.7.0, i played trought the 1 CD and i finished it and i had no problems but when i started playing the 2 CD and i got to the part to get to Cleyra after i enter Cleyra and the group finishes talking they go on ahead and the scene that as to appear is Zidane at the bottom of the tree to start climbing to cleyra but that scene doesn?t appear and i only ear the sound of the sand storm and i get no image just sound. Does anyone know how to fix this bug?

Try using the old version of ePSXe. I played that game till finish with the old version of ePSXe which is 1.6.0 if I'm not mistaken. ;)

In Final Fantasy IX, i get pass the begining movie scene, but as you zoom into the dark room through an open door to begin playing I just get darkness constantly and then the game crashes. I get "send error report"

Any ideas?

I am assuming its the graphics plugin...if so what do u recommend I use?
