Works here, what version number of Mame are you using?. The last rom update was in version 0.117.

Try auditing your rom to see if there are any files missing. The parent rom is named djboy.zip. Sounds like your source for roms is possibly out of date.

MAME 0.105 and I audit and the rom don't start :(

I would say you've probably got an up to date version of the rom i.e compatible with newer versions of mame (test it with mame 0.118 to see if it works with that).

For 0.105 you're probably going to need to find an older source for it or you could try downgrading it with clrmamepro although that will only work if things have been added and renamed rather than changed.

I've probably got a compatible one on the mamecab as that's running 0.113 IIRC but its not networked at the mo so would be a pain to extract.

Lol, that's part of the machine startup tests, try leaving it for a minute or two and the game should start.
