So I'm a little new to the whole emulators and Roms. I downloaded a pokemon game for VisualBoyAdvance and opened the game on it. A message saying "battery loaded" and then white. Who can help?

It sounds like a rom problem. Try downloading a different version of the rom. If that doesn't work, then try using a different emulator like NO@GBA.
