Ogre Battle 64

Any advice for making Ogre Battle 64 run as well as possible? I know it's got a history as a hard game to emulate, but it's at the top of my list of old N64 games I want to play again.

The problem I keep having is that, seemingly randomly, backgrounds won't work. Sometimes they work, sometimes they go black. It's inconsistent.

I don't have this game, but you should try Glide64 Napalm WX or Rice's plugin (some DX9 version and some DX8 version).
