I have the latest version of epsxe, and I downloaded Pete's plugin pack. I'm currently playing Chrono Cross, which was a chore to get running right. It looks great and runs pretty smooth with Pete's d3d 1.77 (i think that's the version) plugin, but I was wondering if there are anymore configurations with either of the opengl plugins that my system may be able to handle. I can't seem to find one, and maybe my laptop just can't handle it, it's not the best computer in the world. Here are it's specs, as well as my settings for Chrono Cross on the d3d plugin.

Acer Aspire 5515
Processor: AMD Athlon 2650e 1.6 GHz
RAM: 3GB
Graphics: ATI Radeon X1200
Windows Vista

d3d Settings:

800x600 Window and Fullscreen
Texture Quality: R5 G5 B5 A1
Hi-Res textures: none (it slows the battle transition down to 30 fps if either of these options are on. took forever to find the reason for the slowdown, but this was it.)
filtering: none
gfx card vram: 128Mb (i looked it up, it's integrated though of course)
use fps limit: yes
fps limit: 60
off screen drawing: 2 (standard)
advanced blending: 2 (hardware)
framebuffer textures: 0 (emulated vram)
framebuffer access: 3 (gfx card buffer reads and moves)
alpha multipass: yes
mask bit: no
unfiltered framebuffer updates: yes (i don't know what this is, and couldn't find it in the readme)
screen smoothing: yes
mixed software FB access special game fix: yes (says faster FB access on ATI gfx, so i figured i'd use it.)

With those settings, I'm running it perfectly fine, and it looks great as well. The opengl plugins look much much better though, especially the opengl2, but it's slow on my system and i can't figure out a configuration. I'm aware that i don't have the best system, but it was a steal for 340 dollars brand new, got it 5 months ago. If anyone has any advice on getting more out of this little trooper of a laptop, or any tips whatsoever about any graphics plugin to get more, it would be appreciated. Graphics don't mean much to me, but at the same time I'd like to get what I can if I have the means to do so. Sorry for the long first post.
