How to change disc(Final Fantasy9)

i have a problem here i`m playing finalfantasy 9 now,but i can`t save so i use save state. but after that i can`t continue to play after disc 1 end. Because when i change to ISO file disc2 and loadstate nothing happen. pls help mee:(

You need to set up the memory card properly and use the in-game save just before it asks for disk 2. No way around that I don't think as its part of the games design.
