Best NES & SNES Emulators

I'm new to this and would like to get into using an emulator for all the games I played as a kid. My only problem is that I don't know which one to get. Anyone have any suggestions? I'm running an Intel dual CPU @ 2.20 & @2.20 GHZ, 4 GB of RAM and a mid-level graphics card... Oh and what would be a good basic controller to pick up? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I would go with zsens or snes9x for snes. and jnes or FCEUX for nes.

You need to get the new FCEUX 2.1.0 it works on Windows better
