Vba rokemon ruby gameshark cheats

Hey everyone, i never use this site, but i got some gameshark codes and enterned them into gameshark port in my Visual boy advance whilst playing pokemon ruby. The gameshark accepted the cade then i saved and restarted my emulator + game but nothing worked.
