how do u guys optimize a computers,for performances
This is what I got,please let me know if i need to add.

software optimzation

1)remove programs
2)spyware removal
3)less programs at Startup
4)all driver and OS updates
5)adjusting visual effects
6)registry editing
7)clean tepompary internet files
8)disk check
9)disk defragmenter
10)delete unwanted files
11)Disable screensaver
12)Disable sound
13)adjust recycles bin usage
14)turn off system restore (optional)
15)Disable unessecary services
16)less indexing

Hardware Optimzing
1)faster CPU (3.1 GHerts,1000 MHz of FSB)
2)better cooling
3)bigger and faster Harddrives (10,000 RPM or 7200 RPM) (640gb)
4)Video card (2 Nvidia GTX 280, SLI )
5)boost up RAM (6 gb of DDR2, PC6400, 1000 MHz)
6)Good monitor,DVI prefered (30 inch LCD,HD,120 hZ Refresh rate)

Well these are My PC specs,Is there anything I can possibly do to get more out of my pc......its pretty fast,but i think i missed soemthing.

P.S-Im running Windows 7 (64-bit).I,ll really apreciate ur opinion

I think your PC is pretty fast. Why optimizing more? All I can add to that list is a faster FSB speed (1333 MHz and above).

You seem a bit more active in the forums than usual Jale, Oh, and yes, your computer seems ridiculously upgraded. doing some heavy gaming?

My computer > properties > advanced > performance > settings > adjust for best perfomance.

You're not going to gain any performance by doing any of your "optimizations" (other than remove spyware, but that doesn't count).

What I do is always check the startup list for strange stuff.
And don't recommend disabling system restore, it's pretty handy.

Thx everyone,I guess I cant do anything,Besides i noticed My PC boot time is under 4 secs Laptop boots in under 6 seconds,Im a PC tech so i need a Good computer to work with and have some good Gaming here and there currently waiting for Street fighter 4 PC version...........thankz again 4 reading..laterz

One of the most important things to do to optimize your computer is to stop the unncessary services.

Your'e computer is faster than mine OP. If I had computer that fast I would do some gaming on my rig.
