need help, pcsx2 0.9.6 runs to slow

Hey, I'm really into emulation, but my new Emulator, PCSX2, is for some reason running too slow for me when I try to play Budokai Tenkaichi 3. It's really annoying, and I was wondering if any one can help me configure my system to work on my laptop (vista, lol). Can anyone help me?
