Quick Question

Can i use a Joypad such as the Xbox controller for Windows, with the PS2 emulator, or can you only use a Keyboard to play the games ? Any help on how to do this will be appreciated.

Yes you can play with your PCSX2 emulator.
First of all, have you got the drivers installed for the Xbox controller?
If you have already that, then try using the ZeroPAD plugin for PCSX2.
