I try all over the net to find a VBA FAQ but it's homepage of the faq has been screwed so if any one can tell me how to add cheats STEP BY STEP i would be really grateful.How to add cheats on VBA 1.4????????????Cause when i add a cheat it says wrong format XXXX-YYYYY i don't get it what the fuck that mean.

Provided that you have the cheats for the game that you are intrested here are the steps.

1. Load the rom
2. Go to Cheats > Cheat List
3. Click the gameshark button and enter your cheats.
4. Hit OK and start playing

Here is an example using a game that I played yesterday. Using these cheats (http://xs.gameshark.com/xploder/xploderui.asp?PID=94&SID=9093724&gameid=17090&tab=gc) I simply added the

Must Be On codes:
900F01889A04
116C16EF231D
45FF54D8943F

and Invinsible:
D78CB80E8BA9
3C6545CC9F3F

That is the format.

Also please upgrade to the latest version.

Well it still don't get the codes,and i also get codes from www.gameshark.com too.

I am trying to play LUFIA :RUINS OF LORE and when i add the code it doesn't support it.I am using VBOY 1.4 and i cannot upgrade to 1.7 cause VBOY 1.4 Runs really fast and VBOY 1.7 runs really slow,that's why i can't upgrade.

But can i use boycott advance,does this emu support cheats????

I used to get that error alot in version 1.4 but 1.7 works without problems.

Rascalboy supports cheats but I have never used any on it so I don't know what problems you might encounter.

Never mind about 1.4 i upgrade to 1.7 and the speed is the same.Yes strangely the same.I copy a cheat in the way you just said and in the emulator version 1.7 it says enabled ,but when i play the game i don't get any good thing from the cheat enabled.

I am using LUFIA:RUINS OF LORE as a game,and add this cheat

99 SOURCE LIFE
0818FACA 601DB699

The emu says enabled and the cheat don't get me any goodie.

I also tried all the cheats i got and with all of them there is the same problem ,the emu says that the cheats are enabled and i don't get anything from using them.

Why so ?

What are these MUST BE ON CODES?

Codes that you need to enable in order to use the other cheats may be ???????
