saving problem

when ever i go to save a game such as legend of zelda ocarina of time, it will show that i saved, but when i quite and come back, it will show no file saved, just a new game file. thanks

Sometimes emulators might save it under a different name because it might say something like (Unknown Rom) the best solution is to reinstall the emulator.
