If i were to play this game would I need DOSbox? I am not all that experienced with using DOSbox. I would need some instruction on how to load the game.

I think you'll need DosBox. If you have problems getting it to run, try one of the frontends for it. Links are available on the DosBox site.

You'll need DOSBOX, and front-ends make it super easy to configure the games to run as well.
