Not sure if this topic belongs here. If it doesn't, go ahead and delete. I'm only putting it here because I wasn't getting much response on the actual Dolphin forums.

I've checked the requirements and I think I have everything. My video card is nVidia GeForce 7600 (512 MB ), I have the latest nVidia driver, I downloaded the C++ Redist. Package, and I think I have the C++ runtime since I actually HAVE C++.

Regardless of all this, when I double-click on "Dolphin.exe" or "DolphinIL.exe", I always get the default Windows message that Dolphin has "encountered a problem and needs to close."

I was told there was supposed to be an automatically generated "exceptioninfo.txt" file in the Dolphin folder, but it is not there.

Can anyone help me?
