I had a craving to play this classic, but since my PS1 doesn't work I am playing it on Epsxe. I am running V. 1.7.0 with eternal SPU 1.50. But when I play with CDROM, the sound fxs are fine but there is not music coming in. This is a dissapointment because the game had really good (funky) music. Anyone know why this is?

There's a good chance the disk image you've got is a rip. There are a lot of ripped PS1 ISO's knocking about where at some stage they have had music and/or FMV files removed to reduce the filesize.

Try the game with the PSX emulator, if the problem is still the same then you need to find a better source for the ISO, if the music works with PSX then try a different sound plugin with ePSXe.

Enable XA sound in sound plugin. If the music is CD-DA, check it as well. If there's no music, then it's a CD-Rip.
