ePSXe Problem

I've a problem that hopefully somebody on here with a bit more knowledge can sort for me!!

I'm using ePSXe 1.7.0 and every 15-20 mins in game the screen flashes and the controls freeze, the game seems to continue but the player/ship/fighter just sticks!! :mad:

I can solve this by hitting escape then going to continue but if it's right in the middle of a good bit it's quite a pain!!

Any ideas folks??

Possibly another process on your PC is starting up and stealing focus. Do you have anything that runs after a period of idle time? (screensaver/AntiVirus checker etc).

I do have a screen saver yes, would clicking the "Disable Screensaver" option on the config solve it then??

Thanks guys, thats it all sorted, seems so simple now but I would never have figured it out!!
