"Star Ocean: The Second Story" doesnt work, pls help

Hey, yesterday is donwload the game Star Ocean: The Second Story.
I use the ePSXe 1.70 Emulator and use the following Plug-ins:
Pete's OpenGL Driver 1.75
ePSXe SPU core 1.7.0
ePSXe CDR WNT/W2K core 1.7.0

Bios:
bios\scph1001.bin

My Computer:
Pentium 4 2,4 Ghz
512 RAM
Nvidia GeForce 4200TI
Windows XP Professional

The Problem:
I run the Iso per Deamon Tools and as soon as I run the Iso, the window get black and nothing happend.

I hope you can help me

Take it easy. We're not here 24/7. The answer to any given wuestion always ´comes when the right person is here.

About your problem: I suggest you try a D3D plugin or if that doesn't work a pure software plugin for the graphics. Also, try to run the game directly from ePSXe without Daemon tools.

If that don't work you could always try another emulator.

1. There's no need to use Deamon Tools, just run the ISO directly.

2. Have you check a compatibility list? It might not work period.

3. Update your Graphics plugin to Pete's OpenGL2 Driver 2.9.

The game is working but it has some issues. Many people have found some solution in the advice I gave earlier.
