Hello,

When you try a game in PCSX2 and the game plays in what I would call Slow Motion.. It plays, cut screens work well, menus work well but the game play and sound play slow.. In sync, but slow... Would I need a more powerful CPU or could that just be incompatibility..

I went into the setup and selected different video plugins, tried to pick skip frames to speed things up... Nothing.. I have a AMD X2 4200+ CPU and a Radeon 3870HD...

Thanks..

I have similar computer specs (although I don't know much of your graphics card) so either it's the game or possibly too little ram. You need at least 1GB (although official minimum requirements state 512MB).

There's not a lot of games running in good speeds on slow computers though. (Yes, in the case of PS2 emulation your computer is weak and slow). Check out the compatibility list here (http://www.pcsx2.net/compat.php?c=key) first.

Tried a 6000+ X2 CPU and got a minor boost in playability.... Have 2GB of system ram.... The Video card has 512MB of it's own...

Thanks..

Well then, it could be the graphics card is to weak (as I said I don't know that much about Radeon cards) or the game isn't working that well yet. Did you check the game compatibility link?

Hi,

Yes I did and it's not listed so I am not expecting much to work there.... No problem will just have to stick to the list... :)

Thanks..
