pokemon emerald question

Hi Im using a no$gba emulator and I have a question why when I enter a place tha have fog my screen turns white and only I can see are ppls not the road/way Ex: when I enter flanery gym I cant see anything accept ppls and the floor is white? is there anything I should do to remove it



another question:why theres no berry mixer at emerald only battle tent thingy
