Sprites from NES

I'm trying to figure out an effective way to extract sprites from NES games such as Mega Man 2. I know I can easily do this with ZSNES but I need to do this for NES games.

Any tips?

There's no need to do this. There a lot of Mega Man (http://www.sprites-inc.co.uk) sprite sites.
