Whenever I try to used VBA on my laptop when it is plugged in it runs fine but as soon as I unplug it the speed goes way downhill and the game barely runs. Any suggestions?

how fast is your laptop? VBA works best when using at least a pentium celeron 700mhz cpu and built-in video with at least 32mb of VRAM.
