ePSXe.exe not working missing zlib1.dll

I cant seem to get ePSXe.exe to work start up I have downloaded the latest version from this site and when I try to start it up after I of the Bios and plugins an error comes up saying

This application has failed to start because zlib1.dll was not found.

any help would be great I've downloaded and re installed it a few times and its still not working. thanks.
