at first, you''l need a r4ds or other card wich is SD compatible. then you put an snes emulator on it an then the rom, then play!... if you need more info just say so

There's no free DS emulator?
 yess ofcourse but itīs pretty off-topic compared to what you asked. if you want to play doom on a ds, i suppose you have the ds. and you donīt need an ds emu on a ds, only the snes emu, and the card wich goes into the ds, wich off course costs money

I think I wasn't too correct there. Nevermind, lawl.
So I can only buy a cartridge online? Or is there a way that I could take a cartridge from an existing game that I never use anyway and write it over?

there is proberly a way but it is so expensive and hard that even the big cooperations wouldnīt even ever do it, so there is only a way to buy it online, or off course from somebody you know.

Well then again. There was one way. Datel Max Media Manager but I dont believe that is sold anymore. Then there was Games and Music but that doesnt seem to be selling anymore. And all of the other online cartridges Nameless mention are hardly being sold. BUT, there is one that will be selling again in the near future. Ds Xtreme. you dont need the Gba cartridge and those stupid passkeys just all one Slot 1 cartridge so it is easy to keep and take care of. though it will be pricey but worth it. around $100 for a 2 gb Cartridge. See using that you can backup many games that you legally own on one cartridge. Which you can download from the internet. I am actually thinking about getting it my self.

i agree fully:happy: the most cards have problems with nintendo so aren't being sold -or hardly- but you could always search on a second handed site, or just buy dsXtreme. -btw: without any memory but with software and stuff m3 and r4ds are 40$

You will need a R4DS (or something alike) anyway, so why should you play the inferior SNES port. Just try DSDoom (http://www.dsdoom.com/) ;)
