Is House of the Dead 1 compatable with MAME at all? I have tried this one and no worky.

Not yet. It works with the Model 2 emulator though. http://nebula.emulatronia.com/

ok so I have downloaded that other emulator model 2 several times and I can never get it to do anything all it does is tells me there are no games, I updated the config to point to the folder but it never seams to find them is there no way to just configure this stupid thing where you can click open and browse for the files?
