Good luck with the FF8. That game was a nightmare for me. I had one of those memory cards that switched back and forth for the PS1 and well, it kept losing the data. I played disc 1 ... 10 times in a row, then when I finally got to the end of the game, I didn't level properly by increasing their strength... so the one of the near final bosses kicked my a@@ after stealing all my cards... so I played the game all over again... got to disc 3 and the power went out, lost all my data and just tossed it in the trash... but later beat it playing on the CPU :p

I'm using a controller. It has the same layout as a PlayStation controller.

Actually, I'm using a v1.1.0 patch that enhances the graphics (lighting and shaders), but it tends to lag in some areas, specially in the foggy ones and the lake.

Loved it. Improved better than the last title I played (Tomb Raider : Angel of Darkness) and might probably play Tomb Raider : Legend in some other time. The game itself might probably easy and short to most gamers, the one I like most is puzzles that urged you to think how to pass the level.

I recommend TRL but personally I dont think it is as good as TRA. Definitely worth playing and 1000x better than TRAOD. Looking forward to TRU (Tomb Raider Underworld)

Tomb Raider : Legend indeed contains more action and even personal business (reminds me of TRAOD again) than Tomb Raider : Anniversary which focus more on puzzles. Limited storage for weapons disappointed me a bit. One part that I like most is "shooting while driving" mini game.

The Godfather : The Game is great and highly recommended for any GTA or Godfather fans out there. Got me hooked as being one of the Corleone family at start until become Don. :)

I just got the import PS2 remake of the original NiGHTs. It is amazing. Same exact game but with crisp graphics and smooth polygons. I forgot how much I loved this back in the Saturn days.

If you enjoy puzzle games then most definitely. It's actually very challenging despite it's look. I think the reason it commercially flopped is because of it's very child-like visuals, but gameplay that is too hard for a younger audience. You can get it really cheap too.
