Hi. I just had a couple of questions...

1. What's the latest version of MAME32? I've got 0.114.

2. Is there a way to get 3D games to work better? What should I set my options to? I've got a pretty good computer, but 3D games run kind of choppy.

Latest version of MameUI (new name for mame32) is 0.126.

Some 3D games don't run well at all due to incomplete emulation/optimisation no matter what your system specs are.
Others only run with a decent framerate with a fast Core2Duo, 64Bit windows, and a couple of Gb of Ram. Your graphics card is fairly irrelevant as mame doesn't use it. Any DX9 compatible card is fine. If you have a C2D then enable the multi-threading option in the MameUI options.

Anything less than that (even an uber overclocked P4) won't get anywhere near it.

Quick note: The latest 'u' release 0.126u5 has a number of things broken including CPS2. If you are going to upgrade avoid the 'u' (Work In Progress) releases and stick to the full versions 0.125, 0.126 etc

Thanks for the help.

Also, is there an arcade emulator that's really good at or is meant for playing 3D games? Becuase I've been wanting to play Sonic The Fighters, and MAME doesn't support it yet.

You could try the Model 2 emulator which runs most model 2 games (like Daytona, Sonic Fighters) fairly well.

You can grab it here (http://nebula.emulatronia.com/descargas.php) over at the Nebula homepage.

You might also want to look into Mame Plus (http://mameicons.free.fr/mame32p/download.htm) which offers a lot of extras over core mame and also uses plug-ins to enhance certain games that don't work brilliantly in core mame.
